About the IPL Mayor's Lunch for Parks
The IPL Mayor's Lunch for Parks is the premier fundraising event for the Indianapolis Parks Foundation. Set in a lively reconstructed park setting, the event features keynote speaker Indianapolis Mayor Gregory Ballard, additional featured speakers Indy Parks & Recreation Director Stuart Lowry and Indianapolis Parks Foundation Executive Director Cindy Porteous, plus staff members from Indy Parks & Recreation and the Indianapolis Parks Foundation. Lunch consists of picnic fare typical of a day in the park. Attendees and event sponsorships in the past have contributed up to $221,000 a year toward Indy Parks projects and programs.
